Casa Encantadora ("Enchanting House" in Catalan) is a recently-refurbished holiday villa for up to 8 people in French Catalonia, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France.
It will appeal to anyone who loves nature, walking, cycling, swimming, scuba diving, horseriding, golf, or who just needs a well-earned rest!. It is only 10 minutes drive from sandy Mediterranean beaches, or from the rocky coves of the Vermillion coast.
The Albères
The Albères are the mountains forming the eastern end of the Pyrénées that separate France from Spain, and divide the two parts of Catalonia.
Catalan culture is very strong in this area, in fact local folklore has it that many people only became aware that they were living in France when they were called-up for the army in 1914!
Wide open blue skies, sandy beaches and rocky coves, fertile vineyards and snow-capped mountains provide the backdrop for this tranquil area and its friendly, welcoming people.
Pool, jacuzzi and sun deck
A high conifer hedge gives the villa's pool and sun deck privacy and protection from the wind. Situated in a very quiet location, the villa is only a few minutes walk from the centre of the peaceful and pretty village of Sorède with it's restaurants and bakeries.
